Pasadena

It was refreshing to see one of my really good friends. He lives in Pasadena. Very nice, well-off, and pleasant area. We played beer pong, went to Red Hat, watched a movie, ate salmon, and spent time with friends.

The drive was really refreshing. 210 route is awesome because of the mountain view.

21 Polo Horses Dead in Florida

Yeah... about that. Pharmacy in Ocala, Florida administered drugs to these horses. After 4 hours, all 21 horses fell dead. Biodyl is bad.

Also, Lakers lose by 2 points Jazz tonight. So much BS! 2-1 Lakers up Playoff series. On the other hand, it's Friday tomorrow. WEEKEND! Saturday Laker game.

GIL 3 Chevron

Chevron's San Joaquin Valley Business Unit GIL 3 pilot deployment went very well. A few things that we needed to fine tune.

Someone just mentioned that I have a "sweet face". What's that mean?!

Band Practice

We sounded a lot better tonight. Tuned up 5 songs and added some badass lead on some of the songs. Things are sounding great and before you know it, we're back to playing shows. I can't wait!

I Can See Clearly Now...

Today started very cold but this afternoon is so beautiful. Sunshine! I need more sunshine. Summer, why aren't you here already? We found a new meat market and hopefully they got some good steak there. We'll find out tonight.

Windy!

Yet another productive day at work! It's really windy and cloudy today. It really sucks but that does not stop us from jogging today. Gotta run to my bank to deposit my check then run back to my apartment. Band practice tonight too. Come back, eat dinner, then sleep!

Back to Blogging

Greetings!

Why blog? Well, when I used to blog, although there were quite a few people reading my blog, it was personally entertaining and amusing reading through my entries for the past year or two. It's kinda like a quick look back at what I've done in the past. So, here I am, blogging again but this time with a different purpose. I'd like to refer back to the things that occurred in my life. I need not share this with anyone but myself. I understand it's public but it's my best form of digital diary, so to speak :-p

Let's start with a quick reflection of (my) life? I can't complain much. I'm much better off than a lot of people. I am very grateful about that. I am not perfect and no one is. I make mistakes and so does everyone else. Someday, you feel triumphant and someday you feel like you're the biggest loser that ever existed. Everyone feels this. That's how we function. We feel the same joy, pain, and sorrow.

I don't hear this anymore but I've heard this from my grandparents when I was a kid a long time ago and It's always been in my heart: "God helps those who help themselves." True, true, true. At the end of the day, no one can take of yourself better than yourself. One must love oneself in order to love another, one must help oneself in order to help others.

Nothing is longer and more complex that life itself. It's hard to keep a smile on our face when life just kicks out butt. We go about each day minding our own business. I start my day with a few stretches when I get out of bed and always say this in my head: "Alright, another day. Let's do this." I'm really glad that almost all the people I acquaint on a daily basis are such amazing people. I learn from there each day. I may not look like it but if people can just see inside my head, they will feel what's inside my heart.

Alright, that's it for now. I have Chevron homework to do! Yeah, work-related homework. It's fun stuff. Kinda sucks but It has to be done in order to effective do my job.

I thank you all.
